Lady Gaga e seu casulo também foram centro das atenções durante a cerimônia. A cantora, que chegou carregada dentro de um “ovo” e só saiu dele quando subiu ao palco, foi premiada na categoria Melhor Álbum Pop por “The fame monster”.
De acordo com o site G1, durante o show, ela cantou “Born this way”, sua nova faixa. Dançou cercada de bailarinos e tocou em um piano decorado com cabeças de bonecas.
A noite teve ainda shows de Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger e Cee Lo Green.
