Katy Perry foi a grande vencedora da 28ª edição dos Video Music Awards (VMA) levando para casa três prêmios. De acordo com a Folha Online, a cantora norte-americana ganhou na categoria melhor vídeo do ano por “Fireworks”, melhores efeitos especiais e de melhor colaboração, ambos por “E.T.”, junto com Kanye West. Perry era a favorita com nove indicações.
